This service is not intended to replace existing means of communication, but rather to enhance them. The district will only use the service to provide information that is timely and relevant.
In order to participate in the new service, you must have a cell phone on file with the School District, and then parents must indicate willingness to receive text messages to their phones. The process is simple and only takes a few seconds to complete.
Please click above for more information on how to opt into this service.
We appreciate the parents and community members who took the
time to share their input on our community survey this Fall. Please click above to find a link to the survey results. The community input has affirmed many
of the plans and initiatives we’ve already put in place and will help guide us
as we work toward continuous improvement in all aspects of our district
including safety, wellness, academics, technology and communication. We are interested in growing our community involvement with Vision 2025; if you are interested please contact Deanna Werner at 651-480-7002 or by email at: email@example.com
Weather Related Closing and/or Delay Information 11/28/2016 2:59:20 PM The Hastings Public Schools website is the fastest and most accurate to find out if the district has closed or delayed their start time.
This is the first place where this information will appear once determination has been made.
By checking the web you can avoid missing our school district listing while watching the television or having to flip through channels because you see Hastings Public Schools listed on one channel but not on another.
In addition, we will continue, as always, to have our closing information announced on KDWA Radio, 1460 AM and Channels 4, 5, 9 and 11.
Change in School Calendar 11/28/2016 2:58:54 PM The School Board for Hastings Public Schools has authorized a change in the 2016-17 School Calendar, allowing December 22nd to be a non-school day for students, so staff can be trained on the ALICE model for responding to a violent threat.
Please click above for more information regarding this training.
